With July 4th, right around the corner, I am getting very excited for food, fireworks at the lake, and having a three-day weekend. Jordan and I have been going to a lake near by for fireworks, it's always packed, hard to pull out of the parking lots, and normally the fireworks don't last that long, but I love spending that time with him and other friends, watching pretty colors light up the nighttime sky. 

I was trying to come up with some outfit ideas and it just happened that I picked out white, pinkish/red, and blue colors. I thought what a better way than to show you what I would like to wear this Monday.

Autumn Weather in New York

The weather here in New York has been rainy and cold. It has been hard for us to do anything, but stay in and watch netflix movies. I do love good 'autumn' weather clothes. Here are some of my favorite choices that I would love to purchase for this colder weather.

Satchels

I am in serious need of some new bags. After putting all my purses together in the new closet, I realized I am missing some amazing colors that shops have out there. I opened up ASOS and found that they have some great satchels, that I would love to have!!

Menswear

I am one for guy humor. I love the straight out ridiculous humor that guys have, which may be why Jordan and I get along so well. With that being said, I am sad to hear that Ryan Dunn has died, such a sad day for Jackass fans. 

I have decided that I wanted to look for some menswear, my way of "suiting up."

Stripes

I am attending a wedding this weekend and am still unsure what dress I should wear... Should I buy a new one or should I wear a dress I already have?! If I buy some new ones, here are some lovely choices I picked as I have been in a mood for stripes. Everyone seems to be wearing stripes lately and it makes me jealous because I don't have very many stripes.

Red Checks

I just got home from a great bike ride along the canal with Jordan. I was riding to see how long/hard it would be to get to my job, and for Jordan to make sure it was safe for me. It only took us about 45 minutes to get almost there, which is a perfect morning ride, don't you think? 

Today it was quite chilly in the New York, so I wore this adorable button down shirt I got from Fancy Treehouse, plus a red sweater (not pictured) for the bike ride.

Summer is Wedding Season!

With the wedding season approaches, I am ready to purchase some dresses for these wonderful occasions. I love going to weddings and seeing two people make the wonderful commitment to one another. 

Three beautiful dresses from BHLDN. I had a hard time choosing just three because they are all so gorgeous!

I love Shabby Apple, their clothes are so different and beautiful. I want so many of their dresses.

Hey Everyone! First, I would like to apologize for the long absences, it has not been intentional. But, after many bruises, scraps and hot hot days, we have finally moved into the new apartment! We are so excited to be starting this new chapter of our lives together. With all that being said, I have my own office/studio! It is great, and I will be taking pictures while I progress through furnishing and decorating.
